Ladies, What Are Some Of Your Best Beauty Secrets?

Share time. Here a few of mine:

I put on lotion right after I shave my legs, then apply baby powder once they're dry. Trust me, you won't get a softer smoother leg.

This is weird, but it works really well to keep your teeth and breathe in good shape: Dip your toothbrush bristles in mouth wash, then baking soda, then apply whitening toothpaste and brush normally.

When your feet are really dry and icky scabby feeling, lather 'em up in tons of lotion then stick them each in a plastic or zip loc bag until most of the lotion has soaked in. Then dip your bag covered feet in really warm water to open your pores and let the hydrating begin.

For dry hair..
I have slightly dry curly hair, and to keep it bouncy, I use an old southern remedy. Take one packet of Knox gelation and dissolve it in hot water, usually about two tablespoons or so--just make sure it's dissolved. You can even substitute the water for milk for extra hydration. Then add two/three tablespoons of molasses and mix it until it becomes a soupy, thick mixutre (I tend to add a little more because my hair is so thick). Put it on damp hair and leave it for 25-30 minutes. Rinse and shampoo. Continue as usual. The molasses smell lingers a little, but it isn't very strong. It is totally masked if you use styling products. I've tried hot oils treatments, but so far this is my favorite AND the cheapest!

Also.. for a cheap face scrub (or body).
I take brown sugar and add just enough water to make it like a scrub. For extra hydration you can use milk or even honey. It's a lot cheaper than a scrub you buy in a store, and without the chemicals. It'll get your skin really soft too! I love it!
