Accu Strike

accu strike welding helment anybody have one?

I am looking for a welding helment and I came across this one, has any bought one or know the qualty of the helment I need it for school.

Ive heard of them but never seen one in use. I suggest getting a reliable auto-darkening helmet like a miller pro, performance or elite series, they work good and look good.
Downside to auto-darkening is they can overheat and stop working, if you like to watch the puddle from 4 inches away expect your auto-darkening to flash you after a few minutes of fluxcore.
The old fashion flip helmets are reliable, but a pain in the ass when your just learning,
--Auto-darkening all the way, miller and optrel are good choices.
Ive beat the hell out of mine, burned it, got it wet, you name it and it still works good after 2 years in use. Expect to pay $150-400 for a good helmet.
Miller elite's are badass, you can select shade 8-13 on the helmet control and they have a grinding mode, and the parts are all cheap to replace. Dont get an esab helmet, where i live you have to special order replacement lenses and they cost like $12/lens, (millers and optrels are like $2)
