I've lost a lot of sight in one eye because of optic neuritis, now I'm having some trouble with depth percepti

I'm having a little trouble with depth perception, like I can't get the toothpaste on my toothbrush straight, and it takes me several tries to get a cap on a pen, and typing is a little awkward. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't seem to notice this with things further away. Any advice? Will I get used to this?
I'm actually only looking for people who have personally experienced this.

I didn't have it for the same reason but I did have the same symptoms. It will take some time but you will gradually adapt to this & compensate for it but it will get better.
