anyone use a Drop Away arrow-rest?

looking for a drop away Arrow Rest, I am shooting a martin lynx (I know its old but I'm not paying $600.00 for 70 FPS more)at 53 lbs and 31 Inch Draw using carbon arrows & a release. My Hunting bud has a Whisker Biscuit and his fletchings are all torn up...so I have a prong rest but it tends to be noisy if the arrow falls off. any suggestions for a drop Away Rest that actually works and won't tear off fletchings?

I shoot a NAP quick tune 2000 on both my hunting & 3-D bows & highly recomend them. If you can find a new one on ebay with the black prongs buy it. I like the black prongs over the white but they both are equally good. The prongs are better for hunting than the new V style prongs, they hold the arrow at rest better.

Stay away from any of the ones that do not require a cable. They have too many parts in them to fail & or ware out. Like the Trap Door, Rip Cord, etc.

There is nothing wrong with your Lynx as long as you are accurate with it.

Tell your Bud to use Bohning Killer Vanes or better yet the Bohning Blazars, which you should try as well.
