how are the S17 shin pads?

i have been using bauer pads my whole lifeand i currently have the lightspeed shin pads. but ive relly liked the way ryan getzlaf's shins look so i serched around and he has the S17 shin pads. does anyone have an opinion bout easton? ive never used their protective gear so i just want a heads up if anyone has used them! thanks guys!

Easton is top notch. They will definitely get the job done, however what it comes down to is if they are right for you. Go to your local hockey store, try them on and see how they feel. I would suggest even bringing your jock and socks so you know exactly how they feel once they are really on with everything else.
