How do I put the Arrow Head on the raw shaft?

I am thinking of buying a bow so I went and looked at arrows and they sell the raw shafts and Arrow Heads separately and the arrow heads have grooves like a screw but there's no groves for you to screw them into on the shaft so I was wondering if you need another thing to attach the arrowhead so if you could help me out that would be great.

You may need to take the arrows to an archery shop and have them cut to fit your specific Draw Length and have them install the inserts that the arrow heads will screw into. But if it is wooden arrows you are buying you will have to have a specific arrow head that slips onto the tapered end of the wooden shaft and is glued on.

The raw shafts are usually not installed with the inserts to start with as they normally need cutting to make them the correct length for your draw length and bow. Then they are installed after the arrow is cut.
