ok, i know that when you get first in a tournament in the grand prix it gives you a gold trophy and everything. but beside the trophy, it gives you a rank like a star or a double star or A B C D E. I understand that to unlock some characters/karts you need to have at least a 1 star ranking or something. plus, on wi-fi, if you get a a star or double star or TRIPLE STAR on every tournament and cc classes, you get a single or double or triple star next to your name! How exactly do you get such stars in tournaments? i kinda understand it might be time but im not sure. and is it even possible to get a triple star ranking! please could you guys also give me some tactics on racing in the tournament to easily get stars. its not fair because you cant really get good time in the tournament when everyone is attacking you with blue shells or shrinking you above lava so you would lose speed then fall in!
