Is This Shooting Bow good?

i made a bow out 6 ice cream sticks and it had a very common rubber band attached as bowstring.anyway,the bow isnt curved as i found this caused the bow to be weak.i used wooden skewer as arrow and shot over a distance of 5m.i had a laser pointer glued to the bow for sniping(haha)?!.i shot the bow at a cardboard crate of common thickness(4-7mm corrugated) at a distance of 5m.it went thru the crate and punctured the other side of the box,protuding slightly.how would rate this bow?
ANY OTHER IDEA TO MAKE SIMPLE STRONG BOW?
