Is this glue safe for my hamster? 10 points guaranteed for best answer!!!!?

I was wondering if regular hot glue gun glue is safe for a hamster to chew on. I want to make hamster toys myself but i do not know what kind of adhesive to use. Do you know of any adhesive that is pet-safe? If so what is it called and where can I buy it?

Non-toxic paste or school glue is an alternative (such as Elmer's which can be bought at any craft store or supermarket; look below for more alternatives). It can be quite unsafe for your hammie to be chewing on the glue (I'm assuming it's hard and dried) as the glue is partially plastic and thus harmful to anyone if it's digested.

Alternatives:
-School glue: craft store, supermarket
-Wood glue (best if it's white wood glue): craft store
-Any glue that is miscible with water (can dissolve into water): craft store

Don't have any glues that have fumes (such as super glue) or have resin in it (check ingredients if available)
