Slick Tricks?

I live in Mississippi, but I'm not from Mississippi. In getting to know the locals, I was chatting with one black girl, having a simple conversation, and she asked me if I played basketball? I said no, she said how about tennis? I said, what? I was shocked, I haven't had a tennis question in about 15 years. I said why did you ask that? and she said, I'm just asking. So then I thought how could she expect me to beleive thats a general question. Usually when a black person asks the tennis question, they are implying that I don't beleive in black virtues such as basketball which is a predominately black sport and instead I volly for white virtues such as the sport of tennis. But I couldn't beleive that she would imply this question that i haven't heard since the 90's, but most of all that she would even think that I had no clue what she was implying. But my question is, is Mississippi people really this immature to play these old 80's high school head games?

Yes, a whole state can be judged by the comments of one of it's citizens. You may now call Mississippians sarcastic as well as I am a resident.
