Madness Package

Is it too much to ask, just this once?

Its NCAA tourney time.
We've got the Mega Madness all games package, the big screen, the side screen with the four game window, the hot dogs, the cooler, 5 of my best friends in for the duration.
Is it too much to ask that wife take her knitting baskets and needles out of the guy room just this once? She keeps saying things like its her house too and whats she supposed to do with her hands while we are watching basketball. I thought she could keep the cold drinks and sandwiches coming. In any event my friends are tired of sitting on knitting needles.
Is it too much to ask that we be allowed the family room without knitting needles sticking our butts, just this once?
BTW- This is a REAL issue. True Story.... Yes she knits, yes there are baskets of yarn, yes there are knitting magazines on top of our brackets and we are not yet 60 although not far away.

I am hurt that no one takes this stuff seriously.

Yes, I have spent much time pondering this question and I believe this is a real situation. First of all, to the guy who said "whisper loving things in her ear" etc. I suggest you whisper in her ear what you are going to do with the knitting needles if she doesn't get out of your room. Knitting magazines on top of your brackets? Has she gone mad? Doesn't know what to do with her hands? Well, I agree, making sandwichs and bringing cold drinks to you and your friends would keep her busy, I think she should have thought of that herself. Its Mega Madness time, where has this woman been anyway?
