Will a youth bow work for a begginner?

So I am going to buy a bow from Kmart(I'm cheap and don't have time to go to a archery store.)
I'm a young teenager, and I take archery classes, and the bow that I use to get taught on is a 10 year olds bow, but I'm not sure what excatly it was called. I was wondering if a youth bow would work? No competion or Hunting, just as a hobby to do in my backyard. I found a cheap one online at Kmart, it says it has a 25 pound pull or something, and I just had the curiosty to know if youth would be alright for a beginner?

measure your Draw Length and get the right size bow.

Once you know the draw length try out some bows at an archery shop and have them fit you to a bow take some lessons while your there and then you will know what would be the best bow for you. Yes you can get a bow at wally world but you will only disappoint your self. there is a lot of great used equipment out there that would still be better than the Kmart special.
